In the light of the Local Plan and final modifications showing a Community Centre and other facilities to be located in the Lower Sheering Ward – see SP4.3, the Parish Council voted to apply for a Deed of Variation to release funds from the S106 constraints imposed by the Rosina Court development. After years of investigations into possible sites, none can be found that are viable.
The PC have already allocated funds from their reserves to be used on Sheering Village Hall disabled toilet, road calming and a bus to link Lower Sheering and Sheering Village if necessary. By nominating these uses in the Deed of Variation funds could be released to use on other things in the existing Lower Sheering Ward. This ward will no longer exist from May and will be part of Rural East.

The money can :
-remain in our accounts unused
-Be freed up to use on other things yet to be decided by residents
-Donated towards the new community room to be built in the new development in Lower Sheering by the new hospital.
-returned to the donor since it remains unused.
