I am writing to let you know that an appeal has been made to the Secretary of State in respect of the above site and will be determined on the basis of the appeal procedure set out above. The appeal is Against a Refusal following the decision of this Council.

I refer to the above details. I am writing to let you know that an appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against the Council’s decision to refuse planning permission for the proposed development described above.
